When we were looking for ways to have a “wow” factor at our wedding, we began to look at wedding dances. My now wife and I had never danced before so we were looking for something that could teach us from the ground up. In 5 sessions, George was able to take the song we wanted and choreograph it and hide the fact that we had never danced before to make us look like we had been doing it all our lives. Working with George over the weeks was an absolute delight. He was warm, funny, non-judgemental (which for me was huge as I am very uncoordinated) and was able to connect with us both to teach us. When friends and family told us “that was the most elegant wedding dance I’ve ever seen” we told them how we learned the dance and they couldn’t believe it. We felt very confident after our time with George and would like to take the time to say thank you, and another thank you for blowing our friends and family away and having them believe we knew what we were doing 🙂

I cannot say enough good things about George. His dedication and passion for his students to succeed is unmatched. My husband is a non-dancer, he hates it, and with George’s guidance, we were able to knock the socks off our guests. All steps are bite-sized and manageable. He fits the dance to your personality ability and style. But not only that … He believes in you. George truly believes that you have the ability within you and makes sure you believe in yourself.

My husband Josh and I are horrible dancers and we were going do the normal “back and forth” high school dance as our first dance (thank gosh we didn’t). We decided to get some help and we had the absolute best experience with George. We are so happy we hired him, no regrets. With all the wedding planning stress we had, the best part was actually getting to practice the dance with each other. George is humble, nice and hilarious. He makes you comfortable as a first time dancer and would recommend him 100 times over.

George is the absolute best, quick frankly he’s part of the family now. My now husband and I, wanted to learn to dance for our wedding. We didn’t have anything fancy in mind, we just didn’t want to look silly and stiff. After our first meeting with George we knew that we wanted to do dance as an activity/hobby to enjoy together as a couple. Not only did George teach us to dance, he gave us an INCREDIBLE routine for our wedding. Our guests were blown away and couldn’t speak highly enough. George as an instructor is phenomenal. He understands your personal/physical limits and will create a routine that allows you to maximize and reach your full potential without breaching those limits. He makes every lesson fun with his amazing sense of humour and is able to explain & show you how to do things in a manner that those unfamiliar with dance can understand. George makes dancing easy, fluid, and effortless. We have had 25 lessons with George and in that time we have learned 9 styles of dance and 3 routines. All have blown people away when we have performed them. We have already signed up for another 25 lessons and now plan to compete! Our love for dance grew and bloomed because of George. I have watched our wedding dance video countless times now and I can’t thank George enough for making it so memorable and special. I HIGHLY recommend George if you are thinking of doing anything dance-related. He is the absolute best and we hope to continue with him for years to come. There are only 5 stars but George is really a 10/10! We love you George 🙂

We chose to work with George for our wedding first dance and we are not disappointed! George is very creative, was mindful of the type of dress and hairstyle that I would wear, to ensure that we would have the best personalized choreography possible for us. We never took dance classes before, and we were able to learn and follow George’s instructions nicely. Very glad about this business!

As other reviews indicate, George is absolutely incredible. He taught my fiance (now husband) to dance in just a few lessons – this is nothing short of a miracle haha. His approach was just so good, you learn easily, you have fun, you translate that into an awesome first wedding dance.

 We have only good things to say about George. If you want to dance for your wedding, give him your money and time. George tries to understand emotions and use them correctly. As someone well versed in the old ways of teaching art/music (aka. yelling and beating your student until they are good), George not only addressed this but empathized with his own experiences, then overwrote my decade of trauma with a very positive experience. George is the rarest gem there is! He is incredible at what he does and does it all with finesse, empathy, humour, and sass. Two months leading up to our wedding, I knew we were in serious trouble. Partly because my then-fiance and I didn’t know a thing about dancing together, but mostly because I couldn’t imagine him sticking through a single dance lesson. That was of course before we meet George. George’s unparalleled ability to relate to others, dissect the root cause of an issue and put his full weight behind overcoming them makes him the most amazing dance instructor. He’s also highly accomodating and managed to work with our unforgiving schedules. We ended up taking 11 lessons and started looking forward to our 45 mins with George every Tuesday evening. In the end, we had a dance routine we loved and are proud of. We executed our First Dance flawlessly with George’s voice at the back of our minds guiding us every step of the way. Ever grateful to George.

If you are looking to create an unforgettable wedding experience while feeling confident, graceful, harmonious, and expressive on the dance floor, you have found the place. My son and I took “last minute” dancing classes a few weeks prior to his wedding. George is far more than a great choreographer in creating your unique dance, and far more than a dance teacher, he is perceptive of fears and negative inner dialog one faces and knows how to lead you to overcome them. Despite my below-elementary level in dancing and fear of intimidation, the few classes my son & I took with George gifted me with the unforgettable experience of owning the stage when dancing with my son.
