My fiancee and I signed up with George about five weeks before our wedding to pull together a first dance at the last-minute. I had danced lots before, but my partner had not danced a day in his life so I was worried that he would struggle with it or give up. Another complicating factor is that I was pregnant, so I wasn’t moving as quickly or easily as I normally would have in my heels. Neither of these were problems for George. From the very beginning he understood what our challenges would be and knew exactly what we had to do to overcome them. He had a game plan from the get-go, set reasonable expectations, and our first dance was far better than I thought we would be able to make it in only 5 short weeks! My partner felt comfortable with George and he felt supported, which was incredibly important for me (given that I would enjoy this regardless). From the very beginning he filled my partner with confidence that he could do this, and it turns out he could! My fiancee is a man of few words, and he told me that George was exactly what we needed and that he exceeded his expectations. I am sad that our lessons are over, but I expect that we will return when the dust settles for what we’d both now consider to be ‘fun together time’.
